Running this bit through a stack of melamine panels, the finish came out glass-smooth with zero chipping. The sub-micron carbide holds an edge noticeably longer than my old bits, even after a full day of cuts. Really happy with how it handles the tough stuff.

I was bracing for tear-out on the melamine, but this bit left a clean, chip-free edge right out of the box. The tapered geometry really helped with the fine detail cuts I needed for the cabinet doors.

The tapered up-cut design plows through melamine without any chipping, which is exactly what I needed for cabinet work. It's not cheap, but the finish on the edges justifies the price for production runs.
