The double D profile cuts beautifully into oak—crisp edges with zero chatter, just like the 17th-century originals. It took a few passes to dial in the depth, but the 1/2-inch shank kept it steady the whole time.

That profile cut is dead-on for recreating the ornate mouldings on my period-correct cabinet project. The 1/2-inch shank feels like it's machined from a solid block, no vibration even in the hard oak.
