My shaper heads finally feel complete — these drop right into the Insert-Pro heads with zero fuss and the C4 sub-micron carbide is clearly a step up from the stock steel I was using before. Cut quality on the door heads came out smooth, no chipping on the edges even with some tougher interior wood.

The C4 sub-micron carbide holds an edge noticeably longer than the cheaper knives I've burned through before, so these should pay for themselves. Cuts through the door head stock cleanly with no tear-out on the show face.

Finally got my door set dialed in and these replacement knives made the difference. The C4 sub-micron carbide holds an edge noticeably longer than the last set I used, and the fit on the Insert-Pro head was spot-on.
