Get guaranteed consistent results when sharpening plane irons and chisels with our honing setup jig. Used with our honing guide, it consistently and accurately sets the proper bevel angle (25° or 30°) on the blade before honing. One side of the jig is used to set the proper bevel angle on plane irons. The opposite side is used for chisels. The HDPE (high-density polyethylene) jig won't harm delicate blade edges. The included shim allows you to create a secondary micro-bevel on your blades for a durable, ultra-sharp edge every time.
