Our MEGA 1/2" shank router bits are your best choice when working with patterns that mount on top of the finished product. The solid carbide construction provides a long-lasting sharp cut, while the compression design of the flutes guarantees a clean cut.

We don't cut corners, so unlike inferior bits that are built with a steel shank, ours are true-solid, precision ground from one solid piece of C4 micrograin carbide. This insures perfect concentricity and a superior cut with extended tool life. We tested similar tools made on a steel shank and our true-solid construction ran circles around the competition.

An excellent router bit choice for creating mortises in flat panels. The open end of the bit allows for easy plunge cuts, while the top-mounted bearing keeps the cut exactly on target.

  • 85-930B: 1/2" shank, 3/4" cutter diameter and 2" cutter height

Top-mounted bearing router bits offer several benefits:

  • The bearing at the top of the bit simplifies the setup process, making it more straightforward for woodworkers, especially those who may be less experienced.
  • This Infinity router bit can be used for multiple applications, including edge profiling, rabbeting, and dado cutting. The top-mounted bearing allows for greater flexibility in creating different profiles and cuts by adjusting the bit height. And the top-mounted bearing ensures a consistent depth of cut, particularly important when creating joints or when uniformity is critical.
  • Top-mounted bearings are excellent for template and pattern routing. The bearing rides along the edge of the template and accurately creates an identical piece or an intricate design.
  • Top-mounted bearing router bits are ideal for flush trimming operations.

Victoria U. ★★★★★

This bit cut through a stack of plywood sheets I was edge-banding without any tear-out on either side. The 2-inch cutting height handled my thick material in one pass, saving me a ton of time.

Steven ★★★★★

I was routing melamine countertops to change the profile of a laminate top—the compress bit left an edge clean enough that I didn’t even need to sand it. The 3/4" cutter diameter handles the material smoothly, and the solid carbide keeps its sharpness for dozens of cuts without any sign of dulling.

Avery ★★★★★

Bought this for a sign project where the pattern sat on top of the finished piece, and the 2-inch cutter height gave me all the reach I needed without resetting anything. It's a solid carbide bit, so it's stayed sharp through a full sheet of plywood with zero burn marks. A bit of a pricey outlay, bu
