The color depth on this black cherry is incredible—it went on smoothly with plenty of open time to work it into the grain. I've used it on a small table and the finish looks rich without any of the nasty fumes I was dreading.

I was worried water-based stain would dry too fast, but the open time meant I could blend the Black Cherry into the corners without any harsh lines. A second coat deepened the color nicely, and cleanup was just soap and water.

The open time on this stain is fantastic—I was able to blend two coats on a side table without any rush or lap marks. The Black Cherry color is rich and even, and cleanup with just water was a breeze.
