General Finishes ミルクペイント、シーガルグレー

Three coats on a dresser and the finish is rock solid — no brush marks, and the chip resistance is no joke after a week of the kids slamming drawers. The seagull gray dried to a soft, flat sheen that looks way more expensive than the effort it took.

I’ve been using this on a coffee table and the mineral-based formula really does give a tough, chip-resistant finish. The soft gray is exactly what I wanted—not too blue, not too warm. It took two coats to get full coverage, but that was expected for milk paint.

The coverage was so even on my old dresser that I only needed two coats, and the seagull gray color dried with a beautiful matte finish. It really is chip resistant—I accidentally bumped the corner with a vacuum and there wasn’t a mark.
