The C4 sub-micron carbide on these knives is noticeably denser than what I've used before, and they've held their edge through a full set of raised panels without any chipping. Fit was perfect on my existing cutter head, and installation took less than two minutes.

I needed replacement knives for my raised panel cutter and these solid-carbide inserts fit perfectly. The C4 sub-micron grade cuts cleaner than the original steel I was using before. No chipping after a dozen test panels.

Put these into my set and they cut through a full sheet of hard maple without any burning or chattering. The carbide edge feels noticeably sharper than the original blades that came with the cutterhead.
