I’ve used this bit set on three plywood pieces now, and every joint came out flush. The extra gluing surface really locks the miters together tight.

The setup block makes dialing in the half-inch bit dead simple—I had my first test joint cutting within minutes. The lapped design really does add a lot of glue surface, and my miter on birch plywood came out tight with no gaps.

The extra glue surface from the lapped joint makes a huge difference — my plywood corner is rock solid and won’t twist apart. The 1/2" shank ran smoothly through MDF with zero burning, and the setup block got me dialed in on the first try.
