The precision-matched 3-wing design cut through my red oak flooring stock cleanly, leaving a smooth finish that needed almost no sanding. I’m glad I went with the 83-099 for my 5/8” thick deck boards—it handled the continuous runs without any chattering.

I’ve been using this cutter set for a deck floor project, and the 3-wing design leaves an impressively clean edge on 1/2" stock. The precision is spot-on right out of the box, making it a true time-saver.

Dead-on accurate cuts from the very first pass, and the 3-wing design leaves a surface so clean I didn't even need to sand before laying the deck boards. I ran both 1/2 and 5/8 stock through and the matched set transitioned between thicknesses without any tear-out. My only regret is not buying this
