The template slots are machined dead-on, so my first test joint went together with zero gaps. I used the smaller jig on the router table and was impressed by how easy it was to align the workpieces.

The guide bushings are precision-ground and slide through the template slots without any play, which makes setting up the joint depth a breeze. I had tight, clean splines on my first test piece after just a quick adjustment to the fence.

I’ve been using this at the router table and the alignment tabs make setting up the spline cuts nearly foolproof. It’s saved me a ton of time compared to my old method.
