That ogee profile is exactly what I needed for the faux raised panel doors, and it cut through the oak with zero tear-out. The plunge action made it easy to fine-tune the depth on the chair rail pieces, too.

The plunge action let me dial in the exact depth for a crisp ogee profile on crown molding, and the clean cut needed almost no sanding. It tackled a hard maple board without burning, even at the slow feed rate I was using. Definitely earning its place in my router table setup.

I used this bit to add decorative detail to some chair rails, and the plunge feature made it easy to get consistent depth across multiple passes. The profile came out clean with minimal sanding needed.
