Japanese Tradition, with a 21st Century Twist

Shark Pull Saws are known for their ultra-sharp and fast cutting action with minimal effort. Their non-slip, rubberized handles stand up to heavy use. Impulse-hardened teeth stay sharp for dependable cuts every time. Shark saws feature innovative Japanese design and technology. Unlike traditional western-style saws, Shark Saws cut on the pull stroke for better control and finer cuts. Every aspect of the design was created to ensure maximum performance with minimal fatigue.

To use a SharkSaw, place the teeth on the workpiece then very lightly draw the blade toward you. The weight of the saw will do the work. After one stroke, simply push the saw back and repeat. With a little practice, you'll be making precise cuts in no time.

Features Include:

  • Blades made from Japanese high-carbon spring steel
  • Teeth are diamond-ground to create three cutting edges
  • Special raker tooth removes sawdust from kerf
  • Teeth are impulse-hardened for long life
  • Blades are thin, lightweight, and flexible
  • Ultra-thin kerf for straight, effortless cuts
  • Ergonomic design for comfort when sawing
  • Sure-grip, high-impact ABS handles stand up to hard use
  • Quick-release design for easy blade replacement

Double Cut Saw (101-883)
9-1/2" blade length, 17 TPI/ 9 TPI

Similar to the 101-877, this Ryoba-style saw features rip teeth on one edge and crosscut teeth on the opposite edge. This saw is ideal for installing trim and flooring. The thin, flexible blade allows for flush cuts and minimal waste. Great for making coarser cuts in the workshop before using a finer saw for finish cuts and joinery.

An indispensable saw for fine woodworkers, furniture builders, boat repairs, crafts, wood modelmaking, this saw has the thinnest blade (0.017" kerf). The spine of the saw keeps the blade straight and stable. This combination yields the finest cuts in a variety of woods of any saw we offer. Excels at cutting difficult woods such as oak, ebony, and ironwood. Cuts as thin as 1/32" are possible. The resulting cut edge is smooth enough for glue-up.

Super Fine Cut Saw (101-881)
10-5/8" blade length, 19 TPI

General Carpentry Saw (101-879)
12" blade length, 14 TPI

This is the best all-around saw for carpenters and do-it-yourselfers. This blade will cut hard and soft woods, treated lumber, plywood, particle board, drywall, and plastic pipe with ease. The pistol-grip handle with soft elastomer grip provides a comfortable cutting angle and secure grip. Great for shop and home.

Trim / Detail Double Saw (101-877)
7" blade length, 19 TPI & 24 TPI

This double saw, in the tradition of a Japanese "Ryoba" saw, is designed for trim, detail, flush and jamb cuts, and other fine work. One side is used for rip cuts, the other for crosscutting. The teeth extend all the way to the end of the blade, making it easier to flush-cut molding and make mid-panel plunge cuts. Loved by flooring contractors and home builders, this saw is also ideal for use on your fine woodworking projects.

Dowel/Dovetail/Detail Saw (101-875)
6-1/2" blade length, 24 TPI

This very flexible saw excels at flush-cutting of dowels and plugs. It's also ideal for cutting precision joinery such as dovetails and mitering small molding. A good, all-around saw to keep in the shop and an extra one in your toolbox.

We also offer a money-saving set (5-Pc. 00-870) that includes a free protective sleeve for each of the included saws!

Matthew ★★★★★

Used it for about an hour cutting through some green oak, and the pull action really does most of the work for you. The blade stayed razor sharp the whole time, and the rubberized grip kept my hand comfortable even when things got sweaty.

Thomas ★★★★★

The non-slip, rubberized handle gives me great control even when my hands are sweaty from working. The blade cuts through hardwood like butter on the pull stroke, leaving a finish that needs almost no sanding.

Adam ★★★★★

I was pleasantly surprised by how comfortable the rubberized handle is during extended use—no hand fatigue at all. Cuts are clean and straight with barely any pressure needed.
