Category: Cutter & Scraper Blades

Replacement blade and chipbreaker for Infinity Tools Jointer Plane, 101-632. The blade is made of steel alloy CrV hardened and tempered to 58HRC. The blade is coated with oil and delivered in shrink wrap. The durability of the blade and sharpeness is significantly extended (it is not necessary to sharpen the blade). Includes chipbreaker.

The Jointer Plane is a long plane (approx. 24"), the body made of beech with a hornbeam sole. It's long length and wide blade make it suitable for flattening the face and jointing the edge of a workpiece.

The plane is equipped with an ergonomic handle at the back of the body. It uses a 60 mm (2.3") steel alloy blade with a chipbreaker. Made of European beech hardwood with a long-wearing hornbeam sole, these planes are ready for a lifetime of use.

Madison ★★★★★

Swapped this onto my jointer plane and the difference in cut quality was immediate — shavings come off clean instead of tearing. The CrV steel holds an edge well, and I only had to wipe the oil off before it was ready to use.

Ryan ★★★★★

I was skeptical a replacement blade could feel this solid, but the 58HRC edge held up through a whole afternoon of white oak without needing a touch-up. The chipbreaker seated flush on the first try too.

Natalie ★★★★★

The CrV steel took a keen edge on my first honing and has held it through several board feet of hard maple without needing a touch-up. The chipbreaker mates up flat with barely any light showing, and no more clogging.
