The FITFINDER 1/2 Gauge is more than just a bit and blade setup assistant and certainly more than a mere center finder. The tool gives you the dead center of stock up to three inches thick, then allows you to lock in that measurement and take it to bits and blades for exact height adjustment, machine fences for precise fence adjustment, turning blanks to mark the center of round or oddly shaped stock, or simply use it to mark the center of the stock itself.

Simply slide your stock under the FITFINDER’s foot marked “P2”, lock the knobs and you will have your center. You can now transfer that perfect half measurement wherever you need it using the foot marked “P3”. No squinting, no numbers, no worrying about parallaxes, no muss, and no fuss.
