Choose Item 61-512 for infinitely adjustable slot widths from 1/8" to 1/4", or Item 61-513 for widths from 1/4" to 1/2". Fine adjustments can be made in precise .001" increments, making it easy to achieve the perfect fit for plywood, hardwood, MDF, and other woodworking materials. Dial In the Perfect Slot Width

Material thickness doesn't always match its advertised dimensions. Plywood is a perfect example—a sheet sold as 1/4" or 1/2" may measure slightly thinner. With a Precision Twist Slot-Cutting Router Bit, you can measure your material and adjust the cutter to create a slot that matches its actual thickness for tight-fitting dadoes, grooves, rabbets, and other woodworking joinery.

Best of all, there are no shims to stack, measure, or lose. Simply turn the adjustment nut to increase or decrease the cutting width until you've dialed in exactly the dimension your project requires.

Designed for Router Tables and CNC Machines

Precision Twist bits feature a 1/2" shank and a 2" overall cutting diameter. While they can be used with a compatible hand-held router, their adjustability and cutting diameter make them ideally suited for use in a router table or CNC router.

For safe, controlled cutting, we recommend a maximum operating speed of 16,000 RPM using a variable-speed router or router speed controller.
