I've been using this set for small jewelry boxes, and the 1/4" profile width lets me get a really clean, crisp detail on stock as thin as 3/8". The matched bits cut smoothly with no tear-out, even on some tricky figured maple.

Finally got around to making small jewelry boxes with these bits, and the 1/4" profile is perfect for that scale. The cut is surprisingly clean even on 3/8" stock, no tear-out at all.

Took these bits out of the box and ran a test on some 1/2" cherry for a small box project; they cut cleanly and the matched profiles fit together with no gap at all. The 1/4" profile is just right for delicate work.
