The grain on my oak table practically glows now—this stain soaked in and made the figure pop like it was backlit. I've used oil stains for years but this water-based version dries fast enough that I finished the whole top in an afternoon.

I’ve tried a lot of stains that sit on top of the wood, but this one actually soaks in and makes the grain pop like crazy. The ebony shade came out super rich and even on my birch shelves, no blotchiness at all. Dried fast enough that I could do two coats in one afternoon.

The deep penetration really brought out the grain on my oak shelves in a way I've never seen from a regular stain. Took just two coats to get that rich, even ebony color I was after.
