Swapped out my old blade and the C4 sub-micron carbide is holding its edge noticeably longer through a full day of rabbeting, no burning on the cut. The fit on the Insert-Pro head was dead-on, zero wobble.

The sub-micron carbide edge on this replacement knife is noticeably sharper out of the box than the original, and it held up through a full day of rabbeting on hard maple without any chipping. Cuts cleaner, too.

Installed this in my Insert-Pro head and got a noticeably cleaner cut on hard maple than the old factory blade. The sub-micron grade carbide holds an edge well through the first 50 feet.
