The clutch lock mechanism is what sold me — you can tighten these with one hand while the other holds the piece steady. I've used them on cabinet frames and some small tables, and the jaws bite hard without denting the wood.

I glued up a butcher block last weekend and these held everything flat without slipping once. The jaws grip tight and don't mar the wood, and the trigger release makes repositioning quick.

The clutch lock mechanism is so much faster than the old screw handles I was used to, my hands don't cramp up after a dozen glue-ups anymore. Clamping a cabinet face frame last night, the jaws held tight with zero slip. These should've been in my shop years ago.
