I was worried about tear-out on the oak stile, but the carbide tips left the edges perfectly clean and sharp—no sanding needed before assembly.

The profile on these bits is so clean I didn't even need to sand the stiles before assembly. They cut through the 1-3/4" oak for an exterior door without any tear-out, and the shank held rock steady in my router. This set saved me hours of setup time.

The 2-piece set handled both the 1-3/8" interior and 1-3/4" exterior stock without me having to swap anything mid-cut. The 1/2" shank stayed rock solid through the whole rail and stile run, and the profiles came out crisp with zero tear-out even on oak.
