I’ve been using this bit for some shallow cove cuts on oak, and the carbide edge is holding up beautifully. The bearing runs smooth, which helps keep the cut consistent without any chatter.

The bearing on this bit makes following a template effortless, and it leaves a silky smooth finish on the inside of the groove. Definitely a step up from my old set.

Bought these to carve a vein detail on a walnut tabletop, and the bearing guided the cut smoothly along my template. The cove it leaves is clean and consistent, no chattering. Would have liked a slightly deeper cut for my project, but it's a solid bit for the price.
