The threads on both sides line up perfectly with my 4" hoses, so I just screw each end on and it's done. No clamps, no wrestling, and the seal is tight enough that I don't hear any air whistling past when the gate is closed.

Finally a blast gate that actually seals tight without needing a hose clamp to hold it in place. The dual threading makes switching between tools quick and easy.

No more fiddling with clamps and hose banding — the threads on both ends let me screw the hose straight onto the gate, and the seal is tight with zero dust leaking at the joint. I put it right before my table saw and it's been rock solid.
