The 4" deep reach lets me clamp past the edge of a thick tabletop, which my old spring clamps just couldn't do. The ratchet locks down tight and stays put, and I can still pop it off with one hand when I'm holding a board in the other.

The one-hand release is what sold me — I can hold a piece in place with one hand and squeeze the trigger with the other, then pop it loose with just a thumb press. The 4" deep reach gets into spots my old spring clamps couldn't touch. Solid grip for light duty work.
