The heavy body made it easy to control exactly where the color went, and on my oak table it covered beautifully in one coat. The "finishing feel" description is spot-on—it left a smooth, almost sealed look without extra work.

I’ve tried several gel stains before, but this one’s rich cherry tone and smooth, thick consistency made it feel more like a finish than a stain. It didn’t soak in too fast, so I had plenty of time to work it into the grain. Definitely gave my project a much deeper, more polished look than I expecte

The heavy body of this gel stain made it so much easier to control during application compared to runny liquid stains. I used it on an old oak table and didn't see any drips or uneven spots. My only surprise was how quickly the color settled in, giving a rich, even tone without needing multiple coat
