I've used both oil and water-based stains before, but this one spreads like a dream and gives me plenty of time to wipe off excess. The graphite color came out even and rich after just one coat on my pine shelf.

This Graphite color is much richer and deeper than I expected from a water-based stain. It spread really smoothly and gave me plenty of time to blend before it set. The coverage was even without a lot of brush strokes.

I needed way more open time to work with a tricky piece of oak, and this stain's blendability was a lifesaver. The graphite color went on evenly with no lap marks, which is exactly what I was hoping for.
